Sound BITES: E16 - Dan Dahlen | Ohio University and Dahlen Communications

On episode 16 of Sound BITES we got the opportunity to talk with Dan Dahlen. Professor at Ohio University and founder of Dahlen Communications. It was fascinating to hear his story moving from an amazing career on the agency side, to client side, then his victory lap as a professor and entrepreneur. Dan has helped shape many of the brands you see and interact with every day and helped develop some of the most iconic campaigns the marketing world has ever seen. We touch base on the burger wars, the changing tools of marketers, and how telling a great story that resonates with the target audience is the one constant. We talk through how beyond building brands, as a professor he’s changed the trajectory of more people’s lives by asking questions and helping his students unlock their passions. If we had 3 hours to talk it wouldn't be long enough, but we are really grateful for the chance to hear where he’s been and what he’s working on.
